
Mom’s Baby Marrow Dish
Ingredients
- 500 grams Baby Marrow (grate with skin on)
- 1 Brown Onion (chopped)
- 3 slices Back Bacon (cut into very fine pieces and fry)
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese (grated)
- ¼ cup Sunflower Oil
- 2 Large Eggs (beaten)
- ¾ can Corn (drained)
- Pink Salt And Pepper (to taste)
- ½ cup Milk
- 1½ tbsps Cake Flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Grease a 20 x 20cm baking dish.
- Mix all ingredients together. Dish into the greased baking dish.
- Bake for approximately 45 minutes. Serve warm at room temperature and Enjoy!
Notes
Baby Marrow: Place the grated baby marrows in a strainer and sprinkle salt over and let it stand for 30 minutes or longer. It will absorb the water. Squeeze excess moisture gently out of the baby marrows with a “super wipe” cloth or just by hand before cooking.
